Policy Case Competition

مسابقه موردی سیاست‌گذاری

د پالیسۍ قضیې سیالۍ

The Policy Case Competition is an annual national competition that challenges Afghan university students to develop innovative, evidence-based policy solutions to real challenges facing Afghanistan. Teams research complex issues, design practical interventions, and present their recommendations to expert judges, developing critical thinking, research, and advocacy skills.

مسابقه موردی سیاست‌گذاری یک رقابت ملی سالانه است که دانشجویان افغان را به توسعه راه‌حل‌های سیاسی نوآورانه و مبتنی بر شواهد برای چالش‌های واقعی افغانستان به چالش می‌کشد.

د پالیسۍ قضیې سیالۍ یوه کلنۍ ملي سیالۍ ده چې د افغان پوهنتون زده کوونکو ته ننګونه کوي چې د افغانستان د ریښتینو ننګونو لپاره نوښتګر او شواهدو پر بنسټ پالیسۍ حلونه رامنځته کړي.

Research & Analysis

Teams conduct in-depth research on assigned policy topics, gathering data, analyzing root causes, and examining successful interventions from Afghanistan and globally.

Policy Development

Develop comprehensive policy recommendations including implementation strategies, budget considerations, stakeholder engagement plans, and measurable outcomes.

Presentation Skills

Teams present their policy proposals to panels of experts, government officials, and civil society leaders, defending their recommendations through Q&A.

Teamwork & Collaboration

Students work in diverse teams (3-5 members), learning to collaborate effectively, leverage different perspectives, and produce high-quality work together.

Mentorship Support

Each team receives guidance from experienced policy professionals, academics, and civil society experts throughout the competition process.

Winning teams receive prizes, certificates, and opportunities to present their policies to government ministries and international organizations for potential implementation.
