Community Safety & Liaison
Afghanistan Youth Parliament
Supporting Afghan communities worldwide
The Community Safety and Liaison division exists to help
We ensure that those who seek refuge are also able to contribute positively to the societies that welcome them
AYP brings together essential services that Afghan families and individuals need when navigating life abroad. Whether you are seeking reliable information on legal migration, looking for mentorship after resettlement, verifying documents for education or employment, or trying to connect with host country institutions, we work as a bridge between Afghan communities and the authorities and organizations in host countries, always with a focus on practical solutions, mutual respect, and the dignity of every person. Our services are free of charge and designed based on real experiences of Afghans in displacement.
We cannot ignore the pressures that the global refugee system faces today
A small number of fraudulent claims, smuggling networks, and criminal acts have made it harder for the vast majority of genuine refugees to find safety and for host communities to maintain trust. These abuses hurt the most vulnerable and create suspicion toward entire displaced populations. AYPFRS believes that transparency and cooperation are the right response. Through grassroots youth networks in multiple countries, we are in a unique position to help local communities and authorities navigate these complexities, not as a reporting agency, but as a trusted partner that promotes lawful behavior and protects the innocent.
Refugees are not merely recipients of aid; they are givers as well. They bring skills, ideas, and resilience, and through small businesses and hard work, they strengthen the economic backbone of the communities that welcome them
Our work is guided by the conviction that when communities and newcomers interact with openness and accountability, everyone benefits.
