Afghan youth residing inside the country can serve as representatives for provinces, districts, and urban areas in the Afghanistan Youth Parliament

Responsibilities

  • Represent youth of your province, district, and urban areas in Parliament
  • Gather youth needs and challenges
  • Liaise with people and local institutions
  • Organize events

Requirements

  • Age 18-40 years
  • Afghan origin and residence in Afghanistan
  • Resident of the relevant province
  • Commitment to parliamentary activities
  • Commitment of 24 to 30 hours per month

+ Village Liaison

Afghan youth residing in villages can serve as village liaisons, bridging the local community with representatives and Parliament

Responsibilities

  • Direct connection with rural communities
  • Gather local needs
  • Share opportunities and programs
  • Organize local meetings, events, and educational programs
  • Report community needs and concerns

Requirements

  • Age 18-40
  • Afghan origin and residence in Afghanistan
  • Resident of the relevant village
  • Familiarity with village issues and needs
  • Commitment of 24 to 30 hours per month

+ Ambassador

Afghan youth residing abroad can serve as country ambassadors representing us in their host countries

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate diaspora communities
  • Organize events
  • Recruit members
  • Serve as official liaison

Requirements

  • Age 18-35 years
  • Residence in the country you represent
  • Commitment of 24-30 hours per month

+ City Diplomats

Our city diplomats represent us at the local level in cities worldwide

Responsibilities

  • Build local networks
  • Organize city events
  • Coordinate with country ambassador
  • Recruit volunteers

Requirements

  • Age 18 years and above
  • Afghan origin
  • Residence in the city you represent
  • Commitment of 24-30 hours per month

Afghan students at universities worldwide can serve as University Ambassadors for the Afghanistan Youth Parliament, bridging students with City Diplomats and Country Ambassadors

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Afghanistan Youth Parliament at your host university
  • Introduce Parliament programs and opportunities to Afghan students
  • Launch research and academic projects related to Afghanistan
  • Organize academic, cultural, and awareness events
  • Collaborate and coordinate with City Diplomats and Country Ambassadors
  • Connect with the University Network and specialized chambers

Requirements

  • Active student at Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD level
  • Afghan origin
  • Commitment of 20-25 hours per month
