University Pathway Programme

A free, step-by-step guide to university and scholarships: from academic and language preparation to choosing programmes, applying and getting ready to travel. For all young people, with special attention to girls whose education has been restricted.

Your path in six steps

1
Know yourself and your goal
Choose a subject, level (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD) and mode of study (on campus or online) based on your interests and abilities. The course Career Path Planning can help.
2
Academic foundation
If your education was interrupted, follow the School-to-University programme (four levels of maths, sciences and English).
3
Language and tests
Most international programmes require a language test, typically IELTS 6.0 for a bachelor’s and 6.5 for a master’s, or the equivalent Duolingo English Test or TOEFL score. The course Academic English & Test Preparation is designed for exactly this.
4
Choose programmes and scholarships
12–18 months before your intended start, shortlist 5–8 suitable programmes and scholarships, and read requirements and deadlines only on the official website.
5
Documents and application
Prepare documents months in advance (see the list below). Write a tailored motivation letter for each programme; the Academy reviews it for free.
6
Interview, admission and travel
Practise for interviews; after admission, prepare for the visa, housing and student life, and stay connected with the student network.
