Afghan Youth Voice Survey
2026–2027
Why this survey? AYP is running this survey to record the views, needs and hopes of young Afghans, inside the country and abroad, through an open, anonymous online survey. Taking part is opt-in, so the results describe the people who answer, not all young Afghans, and every result shows the number of respondents. When the survey closes, the findings will be published in a public report, so that AYP’s learning and skills programmes, partner educational institutions and the media can hear young people’s voices based on data rather than assumptions.
Period and goal: The survey is open until 30 April 2027. Our goal is at least 10,000 responses. It is for young people aged 20 to 44 and takes about 4 minutes.
Privacy: We do not ask for your name, email or phone number. Answers are analysed and published only as statistics for groups, and no individual response is ever published. To prevent spam, the website system may record technical data such as your IP address; this data is never published or used in the analysis. Anonymous, aggregated results may be shared with research institutions, humanitarian organisations and United Nations agencies. Taking part is voluntary.
Data retention: Raw answers are deleted 24 months after the survey closes. Methods, ethics and data protection: Research Standards.
